Have you thought about having demos, or even a booth at Gen Con
in August? (30,000+ gamers, artists, collectors, and more over 4 days!)
If you can't find someone willing to share a booth in the main area (Bruton, Stein, VanCamp usually have tables at Gen Con, though usually in Artist's Alley), they do have something called Entrepreneur's Avenue that first-time exhibitors can get for lower cost (not exactly prime real estate, and by "less expensive", it's still a chunk of change.) The EA spaces are limited (and likely sold out), but it may be an option nonetheless.
There's also the chance, if nothing else, of registering to run demos and/or competitions too if you, or someone else is so interested.
If any of this sounds like something you'd like to do, feel free to contact me here, or on FA, or Email (Torakhan on Gmail as well) and I can put you in contact with the Gen Con folks. It looks like I will be Senior Volunteer for On-Site Registration and such this year, so I won't be at Exhibitor Headquarters, but I may still be able to sling some Emails around. :)Edited at 2012-04-23 02:26 pm (UTC)
